McCloud Strategic Communications contracts with state’s eHealth Collaborative

As of Aug. 1, McCloud Strategic Communications, LLC, will be a subcontractor for the Pennslvania eHealth Collaborative.

The eHealth Collaborative is an initiative within the Office of Administration to encourage medical professionals to share medical records electronically. The Commonwealth has contracted with Computer Aid Inc. to build the electronic infrastructure. MSC President Jeff McCloud will be working in a full-time role as a Business Analyst, Communications, for the collaborative.

“This is the kind of work that I find thrilling and fulfilling,” he said. “It has a direct impact on people’s health, and to be working on the front lines to raise awareness could not be more important.”

McCloud brings 10 years of state government experience to the Collaborative, having worked during the Ridge and Schweiker adminsitrations at the Department of Environmental Protection and the Department of Education. He then was the marketing and communications coordinator at the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.
